The cooling showcase is divided into two parts: commercial and residential. This year’s Residential Showcase was released on April 25, 2022.

Serviceability Features: Removable panels provide service access for controls, compressors and blowers. Fans in tower configurations can be switched on site between side and end row. The vertical configuration unit includes a built-in condensate siphon inside the cabinet, eliminating the need for cleaning pads. A high condensate level sensor is included as standard and is used to indicate that the level of condensate in the drain pan is above normal.

Service Features: ProFit water source heat pumps are a simple replacement for most existing water source heat pumps. Fans in tower configurations can be switched on site between side and end row. Noise Canceling Features: Includes a two-stage Copeland Scroll compressor designed to run at a quieter, lower stage most of the time. A two-stage heating system is also included, providing a similar level of comfort in heating mode. The size of the outdoor fan is optimized for minimum noise.

Most low voltage connections can be made on the same easily accessible board. The large control box provides work space and easy installation of accessories. The intuitive switch and rotary switch make it easy to set fan parameters. Can be converted to horizontal airflow on site for installation flexibility.
Noise Reduction Features: Fully insulated casing, insulated scroll compressor and balanced indoor/outdoor fan system. The indoor fan adopts an X-Vane/Vane axial fan design with built-in accelerated acceleration technology for smoother start-up sound. Lightweight, impact-resistant composite fan blades on outdoor fan systems minimize noise. The X-Vane unit has an acoustic dBA of 79 (compared to 80 for a phone dial tone).
Supported IAQ equipment: Factory and on-site fresh air economizers with on-demand ventilation. Economizers use troubleshooting diagnostics to ensure operation and control of ventilation air while the multi-speed motor is running. Horizontal economizers are only available as accessories.

Special installation requirements: Vane axial fans always rotate in the correct direction. The installer must perform a proper start-up, including: checking three-phase compressors to make sure they are correctly phased, and measuring start-up temperature/pressure to make sure the compressors are running. If the installer is unable to verify the operation of the cooling at startup (i.e. winter start), the cooling function should be disabled until the installer returns and completes a proper startup.
Serviceability Features: Hinged service door, rolled-up condenser fan assembly, PLC diagnostics for troubleshooting, external service port access, filter clogging indicator, easy-to-clean condenser coil, and Modbus interface and web remote access, Bard Link™. All services and maintenance are carried out outside the building and do not take up internal space.

Serviceability Features: The blower system of the QV horizontal cabinet is designed to be easily changed on site. Installers can switch the blower outlet from end to through in minutes.
Noise Reduction: The QV is equipped with a patented Bosch compressor. The unit’s unique soundproofing kit includes isolating blowers and case insulation to suppress unwanted noise. The product also includes a raised base plate for tightness around the compressor and optimum sonic performance. Its DEC Star® blower produces the same CFM as previous LV models, but at a slower speed, resulting in lower power consumption, lower noise levels and optimized sonic performance.
Additional Features: The QV series leads the industry in sound performance with an overall sound level of 53dB. It is also small, making it ideal for apartment renovation or new construction projects. To optimize the sound performance of the small enclosure, Bosch engineers have upgraded the fans to the latest technology, the high-efficiency DEC Star blower, and applied Bosch’s patented sound deadening technology to the compressors.
