As the resumption of work and production continued, enterprises accelerated the release of previously suppressed production and demand. The production index and new order index were 52.8% and 50.4% respectively, higher than 3.1 and 2.2 percentage points in the previous month, and both reached the expansion range. In terms of industry, the two indexes of automobile, general equipment, special equipment and computer communication and electronic equipment were all higher than 54.0%, and the recovery of production and demand was faster than that of the manufacturing industry as a whole.
At the same time, the policies and measures to ensure the smooth delivery of logistics were effective. The supplier delivery time index was 51.3%, 7.2 percentage points higher than last month.
